MYOB Advanced integrates with dispatch app vWork

Technology

The integration will provide quicker invoice payment times through automatic generation, say the firms.

MYOB Advanced accounting software has launched an integration with dispatch application vWork that will enable users to instantly invoice customers upon delivery.

The firms said the integration meant when a driver signed off on a completed delivery in the vWork platform, all relevant information would immediately transfer to MYOB Advanced such as delivery costs and SLA compliance.

The two firms said the integration would provide automatically generated invoices in seconds that could be issued immediately or according to existing billing arrangements.

The automated invoicing created through the integration between the two platforms was also said to reduce triple handling, minimising human error, and helping ensure invoices were paid on time.

MYOB’s ecosystem partner manager Luke Simmons said the integration would help streamline the process for businesses to invoice a client as soon as a job was completed.

“MYOB Advanced’s integration with vWork is opening a new door for businesses to process their delivery-related invoicing swiftly, easily, and more reliably,” said Mr Simmons.

“By making it easier to invoice as soon as a job is complete — anywhere and anytime — vWork and MYOB Advanced together are creating a new opportunity for businesses to deliver an improved experience for customers while preventing lost sales and supporting cash flow.”

Chief executive of vWork, Ron Moody, said he was pleased the organisation was able to secure the partnership with MYOB Advanced and provide a greater product for its clients.

“This is an exciting partnership for vWork. Our integration with MYOB Advanced extends the footprint we have already established with MYOB AccountRight,” said Mr Moody.

“In recent years, companies across the board have had to rapidly change how they do dispatch and deliver. This new integration ensures vWork users can offer the type of seamless, flexible, and ‘no fuss’ solution enterprises are now looking for.

“Any vWork customer can simply connect MYOB Advanced to vWork with confidence they will be maintaining data security and compliance. We have sought to add as much value as we can with the opportunity to extend vWork’s functionality with further configuration to meet our individual customers’ needs.”
