ADP receives cross-certification from ATO

Regulation

ADP’s Electronic Payment Services (EPS) solution is the latest to achieve cross-certification from the ATO.

By Staff Reporter 7 minute read

In announcing the achievement, ADP said it is now a registered SuperStream solution provider for Australian businesses.

SuperStream is the new data and payment standard, introduced by the ATO to improve the efficiency of the superannuation system.

Susan Heron, ADP Australia & New Zealand’s managing director, said the firm is focused on making life simpler for ADP clients.

“Our focus is to remove the burden of SuperStream compliance. At most, our clients will have to change minor file specifications. The majority, however, will not have to change anything at all," Ms Heron said.

“We have worked closely with our clients, superannuation funds and the ATO and have made it a priority to keep our clients informed and to ensure a smooth transition,” she said.

Employers with 20 or more employees are required to comply with the SuperStream standard by 1 July 2015, while employers with 19 or fewer employees have until 1 July 2016 to conform.

ADP is a global firm providing cloud-based payment solutions and services to over 610,000 clients in 100 countries.
