OVERVIEW

Business advisory is a growing service offering in the accounting community, as accounting professionals increasingly prove themselves to be the preferred advisers for Australian small businesses in particular.

This award recognises the firm in the accounting industry that most effectively drove growth in its business advisory unit during the 2017 calendar year, utilising a range of business development principles and tactics.

Based on business growth metrics as well as support and servicing, the award considers the activities, strategies and actions of the firm in terms of driving increased revenue and efficiencies.

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to all firms in the Australian accounting industry with a business advisory focus or division.

The award is based on the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.

QUALITATIVE CRITERIA (maximum 300 words per question)

  • Outline how you executed your growth strategy for your business advisory offerings in the 2017 calendar year.
  • How do you set yourself apart in a flourishing business advisory space?
  • If relevant, describe how your business advisory services complement your other service offerings.
  • What did you do in 2017 to improve satisfaction with your business advisory clients?
  • What strategies did you employ in 2017 to win new business advisory clients?
