According to a statement, Craig Wishart joins KPMG from UXC , where he was CIO and CTO and responsible for the ICT function. Prior to this, he was CIO and executive general manager for customer services at Service Stream.

Mr Wishart replaces former CIO Mr Stevens, who will now lead KPMG’s digital services team in the newly created role of chief digital officer.

KPMG chief financial officer Damian Templeton said: “Craig is very well placed to lead our IT services team, with his extensive experience and cross-industry exposure. He also has significant global expertise and is highly regarded for his cloud platform, security and risk and ICT transformation capabilities”.

“Under Anthony’s leadership, the firm has implemented an unprecedented amount of change and transformed how ITS supports the firm. This transformation will now be accelerated under Craig, with technology key to supporting and managing our firm’s growth and development.”

Commenting on his new role, which is based in Melbourne, Mr Wishart said: “More than ever, organisations are challenged with transforming, evolving and identifying new ways of working”.

“The opportunity to contribute to the success and future of KPMG is exciting. I genuinely look forward to working with the KPMG leadership and technology teams to maximise and optimise the investments we make within our business.”
