Deloitte has announced an agreement with Receipt Bank that will see the productivity application integrate with the Deloitte Private Connect cloud technology platform.

Ben Shields, managing partner of Deloitte Private Connect, the big four firm’s own cloud-based technology platform, described Receipt Bank as a great addition to the Deloitte platform, declaring it will deliver up-to-date information and insight on which clients can take action.

“We spend a lot of time finding the right organisations who share our passion for client experience and delivering timely information. The team at Receipt Bank are a wonderful fit for us and they share our passion,” he said.
Mr Shields said the agreement will harness the capability and flexibility of Receipt Bank to enhance the Deloitte Private Connect platform as part of the firm's standard service.
“Our arrangement with Receipt Bank is aligned with one of the core strategies of Deloitte Private Connect – each component is ‘plug and play’, allowing Deloitte to be agile with its choice of cloud software provider so that our clients are offered the leading technologies at all times,” said Mr Shields.
Sneza Pelusi, managing partner of Deloitte Private also praised the integration, saying Deloitte Private Connect is embracing the continuous disruption of the accounting and tax profession through cloud technologies and will continue to create offerings that transform the way business owners experience accounting services.
“Deloitte Private Connect combines shared ledger accounting, automated bookkeeping and benchmarking, an online portal and dashboard as well as many other digital technologies, to redefine the way our private clients work with us, in real time, on any device,” said Ms Pelusi.
“Every business owner dreams of spending less time in the business and more time on the business, so our arrangement with Receipt Bank will help make this happen.”
