The firm has undertaken a joint venture with Melbourne-based TST Partners to open a Shanghai office, to be known as McLean Delmo Bentleys Shanghai.

The new office in Shanghai will be led by McLean Delmo Bentleys partner, Alan Ling and TST Partners managing director, Francis Gu. It will provide services across accounting, wealth creation, mergers and acquisitions, IPO consulting and international tax and auditing.

John Delmo, managing partner of McLean Delmo Bentleys, said the joint venture and new Asian operation will allow the firm to expand its international offering.

“McLean Delmo Bentleys has an established international business advisory and is already working with many clients in the space. The joint venture with TST Partners will strengthen our presence on the ground in China, and allow us to conduct more business on behalf of clients,” said Mr Delmo.

“Both TST Partners and McLean Delmo Bentleys have a shared vision for the office in China, and will be a strong partnership.”

Mr Gu said he looks forward to the opportunities the partnership will offer, for both the business and its clients.

“This joint venture allows both our firms to combine our strengths and complementary service offerings to provide our Asian clients operating within the Australian marketplace with the full suite of services they require,” concluded Mr Gu.

As part of the joint venture, six new staff have joined the McLean Delmo Bentleys office, commencing this week.
