Intuit beefs up partner program

Business

Intuit has announced a revamp of its partner program, revealing a raft of new initiatives that include additional training, marketing assistance and practice support for accountants.

As part of the updated program, a new portal for advisers will feature live feeds with links to the latest product update information, reference to expert phone, chat and email support, new marketing campaign templates and an improved layout.

Managing director of Intuit Australia, Nicolette Maury, said the revamp shows how important accountants and bookkeepers are to Intuit, describing them as partners rather than a sales channel.

“We have been working with accounting professionals for more than 30 years so we understand their businesses inside out. As every practice is different, we offer a range of flexible program options with no ties, points to count or subscription charges to unlock the benefits," Ms Maury said.

“Intuit also provides the resources and tools we know our partners need to easily manage their clients, save time, build their skills and grow their practices,” she said.

New and upcoming features include QuickBooks Online training either onsite or online, with free education materials, and self-paced online certification training for advisers who need enhanced flexibility, she added. In addition, a QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification program will launch in August with face-to-face and webinar options for advisers who want to extend their skills.

The program revamp has been designed to help accountants both to build their practices and win new clients, Ms Maury said.

“As part of our program, Intuit partners can access a new business building service which enables small businesses to connect to an accounting or bookkeeping practice, once they have added a profile to our portal. This is just one of the many valuable tools available to help partners attract new clients," she said.
