CCH hires former Reckon leader

Business

Pete Sanders, former managing director, business group at Reckon has joined Wolters Kluwer CCH to take charge of the company’s CCH iFirm practice management product.

By Michael Masterman 8 minute read

Wolters Kluwer CCH has announced Mr Sanders will take on the position of managing director for the company’s accounting professionals division, Asia Pacific.

He will focus on developing and promoting the company's CCH iFirm cloud-based software for accounting firms.

Russell Evans, chief executive officer, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, Asia Pacific, said he is delighted to welcome Peter to the organisation.

“He is a valuable addition to our Asia Pacific business and will be integral to the global success story that is CCH iFirm.”

As reported last week in AccountantsDaily, Mr Sanders’ departure from Reckon has seen Sam Allert promoted to the newly-created position of managing director, Australia and New Zealand.

In the new role, Mr Allert will oversee both the accountant and business groups for Reckon in Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Xero has also seen changes to its leadership team with CFO Douglas Jeffries resigning after just three months in the job. Mr Jeffries was only announced as CFO on January 29 of this year.

Mr Jeffries said he has stepped down to pursue opportunities headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area.

“This was a very difficult decision given Xero’s momentum and business potential,” Mr Jeffries said.

“The decision to leave is entirely based on my personal objectives and the timing is in no way a reflection of business or financial reporting concerns. It has been especially pleasing over the past few months to see the US leadership team form and deliver improved results.”
