CAANZ signs trans-Tasman MoU

Business

CAANZ has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ) that will enable the two bodies to share professional development content.

Lee White, chief executive officer at CAANZ, said the MoU will facilitate reciprocal access to educational opportunities to assist with professional development of members of both organisations.

“We are excited to begin a relationship with HRINZ and we look forward to implementing initiatives to further equip members of both organisations.

“This agreement recognises the mutual benefits of a collaboration between two leading membership organisations and there will be a lot to gain from working together and sharing educational content,” Mr White said.

The sharing of technology and e-learning tools is a further area of planned cooperation and exploration as part of the MoU, according to a CAANZ statement.

HRINZ chief executive Chris Till said the partnership will present great learning and development opportunities to members of both organisations.

“There are indeed many commonalities between our two professions and we are looking forward to exploring these with CAANZ, so that together our two organisations can continue to raise standards of practice in New Zealand and beyond,” Mr Till said.
