In line with Mental Health Month, Jirsch Sutherland has announced a series of complimentary breakfast seminars in October for accountants, business owners and directors to discuss workplace mental health and wellbeing.

Accountants and their business clients are invited for breakfast to hear from a Beyond Blue guest speaker, who will talk about the benefits of and ways to create and maintain mentally healthy workplaces.

“We take mental health and wellbeing seriously at Jirsch Sutherland, and our desire to do more to support our clients, referrers and staff has led to the creation of a comprehensive and dynamic We Care Mental Health and Wellbeing Program,” said Bradd Morelli, national managing partner.

“This year’s Mental Health Month theme is Share the Journey, which is all about ways we can connect with others, both for our own health and wellbeing and for theirs. And our seminars are designed to help provide helpful tools and tips for trusted advisers and their clients.”

Jirsch Sutherland recently announced a major mental health and wellbeing program, committing to having all its partners, principals and managers obtaining the mental health first aid certificate.

In addition, on 10 October, World Mental Health Day, the firm is inviting accountants to join them for Mental Health Walk and Talk lunch-hour tours of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Newcastle will hold its Walk and Talk tour on Tuesday, 15 October.
