Daniel Bryant has been appointed CEO of PPB Advisory, succeeding outgoing CEO Stephen Purcell, who has led the firm for seven years.

As a partner with PPB Advisory for nine years, Mr Bryant has played a central role in some of the firm’s high-profile restructuring and turnaround matters, including ABC Learning Centres, Clive Peeters and Gunns Limited.
Mr Bryant has also been strongly involved with the growth of the firm’s advisory capability, and was an instrumental part of facilitating the recent merger with Litmus Group.
PPB Advisory chairman Stephen Parbery said Mr Bryant underpinned the firm’s strategy to further develop the firm’s advisory and consulting capabilities.
“The successful merger with Litmus Group marks a new phase of growth for PPB Advisory, and Daniel’s role in establishing and leading this practice area puts him in great stead to continue along this growth path,” said Mr Parbery.
“Daniel has been a strong proponent of PPB Advisory’s culture, which is centred around collegiality, agility, and entrepreneurship, and we are confident that under Daniel’s leadership, these will continue to form a key point of difference for the firm.”
Speaking on his appointment, Mr Bryant noted that PPB Advisory is well positioned to capitalise on emerging opportunities, with an evolving market only aiding in unlocking further areas of growth.
