DFK International appoints Aussie CEO to executive board

The experienced professional will advocate for support of the organisation’s Asia-Pacific firms at an international level.

DFK International has appointed the CEO of its Australian member firm Cheree Woolcock to its executive board as vice-president for Asia-Pacific. 

President of the board of DFK International Harriet Greenberg said the organisation was pleased to bring someone of Ms Woolcock’s experience into the frame. 

“We are delighted to welcome Cheree Woolcock as our new VP Asia-Pacific,” said Ms Greenberg. “She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our board and association. She has been an active member of DFK for many years and has played a key role in strengthening our presence and reputation in Australia.” 

“We are confident that she will be an asset to our board and a great regional leader.” 

Currently the CEO of DFK Benjamin King Money, the organisation’s member firm in Australia, Ms Woolcock has over 20 years of experience providing audit and assurance services to clients across various industries and sectors.

Ms Woolcock welcomed the opportunity to promote the development of the Asia-Pacific region. 

“I am honoured and excited to take on this role and to work with my fellow board members and colleagues across DFK International,” she said. 

“I look forward to contributing to the growth and development of our association in Asia-Pacific and beyond.” 

The firm said the role would see her serve on the executive board of DFK International, which oversees the strategic direction and governance of the association.

Her role would be to represent and support the interests of the more than 90 member offices across 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms Woolcock has previously served as the president of the DFK ANZ Group.

DFK International has over 200 member firms across 90 countries and strives to bring together accounting, tax, legal and business advisory terms to provide clients with local knowledge with international resources.
