WA Insolvency Solutions principal Greg Prout now has dual registrations having recently attained his bankruptcy trustee registration.

This latest registration adds to Mr Prout’s role as registered liquidator.

Becoming a registered bankruptcy trustee qualifies Mr Prout to recommend and manage both corporate insolvency problems as well as personal insolvency complications.

Managing partner of WA Insolvency Solutions, Jimmy Trpcevski, said that Mr Prout’s additional registration boosts his company’s services.

“It further strengthens the firm’s personal and corporate insolvency offerings and its wealth of knowledge and experience across WA and, indeed, the country,” he said.

Jirsch Sutherland’s national managing partner Bradd Morelli said that attaining bankruptcy trustee registration was no easy feat.

“We are all incredibly proud of Greg’s achievement,” he said.

“Securing registration requires an extensive specialist skillset, thousands of hours of experience at senior level, the support of multiple referees, and a superb track record.

“Greg has all this and more: in his almost 20 years with the firm, he has shown exceptional professionalism and unwavering commitment and dedication to everyone he works with – clients, peers, referrers and colleagues.”

Mr Prout has experience assisting clients of all sizes from small family-run operations up to ASX-listed corporations.

He has dealt with corporate and insolvency matters for almost 15 years and specialises in corporate insolvency appointments (including turnarounds and recapitalisations), bankruptcy and personal insolvency and informal creditor negotiation and settlements.

Mr Prout was looking forward to the expanded role his latest registration offers.

“I’m very excited to now be both a registered liquidator and bankruptcy trustee,” he said.

“I always approach matters with a view to achieving the best possible outcome for all stakeholders and I ensure that matters are conducted with a high degree of care and professionalism.

“This includes ensuring creditors are treated equally and that fairness is shown to the bankrupt/debtor.”

WA Insolvency Solutions is the Western Australian division of Jirsch Sutherland after merging in 2014 and Mr Prout becomes one of seven registered bankruptcy trustees across the company.

Mr Prout covers the majority of Western Australia, looking after matters in Perth, Kalgoorlie, Albany, Esperance and Broome.
