RSM Australia’s latest appointments include the promotion of Peter Revelas from principal to partner in the firm’s Sydney office.

Mr Revelas, who has been with RSM since 2011, works in the firm’s business advisory division where he provides a commercial application of technical tax and accounting skills to his clients ranging from family groups and small to medium enterprises to corporate clients.

Justin Audcent has also been promoted to partner in the firm’s corporate finance arm in its Perth office, having advised on more than 200 successful corporate mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets transactions, and international and cross-border deals.

Mr Audcent joined RSM in 2017 after holding previous roles at Crowe Horwath, Ernst & Young and HLB Mann Judd.

RSM has also appointed Stephen Stavrou as partner in the firm’s assurance and advisory division.

Mr Stavrou joins after close to three decades at Deloitte where he was a partner for 15 years.

“2020 has demonstrated that expert business advisory and financial management are crucial for organisations looking to survive in the long term,” RSM national chair Jamie O’Rourke said.

“This has driven significant growth for RSM and I’m pleased to announce these new partnership appointments in response to that growth and in preparation for further expansion.

“Peter, Justin and Stephen each bring unique and extensive skills to the team and will play a key role in building out the capabilities of RSM’s teams in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.”

The mid-tier firm has also announced nine new principals including:

  • Emma Brown, Sydney business advisory
  • Travis Connell, Albury business advisory
  • AJ Neo, Perth assurance and advisory
  • Michael Palermo, Perth technology consulting
  • Myles Pover, Sydney business advisory
  • Anthony Riding, Ballarat financial services
  • Danielle Sherwin, Sydney tax services
  • Lauren Taylor, Perth business advisory
  • Peter Xi, Sydney research and development

The latest round of partner and principal appointments bring the total RSM Australia leadership group to 159.
