HLB Mann Judd has announced the appointment of Lucio Di Giallonardo as managing partner of the Perth office, replacing the outgoing Norman Neill, who will return to being a full-time partner in the firm’s corporate and audit services division, in line with HLB Mann Judd’s managing partner rotation policy.

The firm has also announced the promotion of Katelyn Adams to partner in its corporate advisory division in the Adelaide office.

Mr Di Giallonardo’s appointment will mark his second stint as managing partner, having previously held the role between 2010 and 2014.

He has been with HLB Mann Judd for the past 34 years, progressing to partner within the corporate and audit services division.

According to the firm, Mr Di Giallonardo specialises in audit services, management and advisory services, prospectus preparation, investigating accountant’s reports for IPOs, expert reports and due diligence reviews.

His appointment will also see him join the firm’s Australasian association executive committee, building on his role as a current serving member of HLB international’s audit committee.

“Lucio has been a loyal member of the HLB Mann Judd Perth partnership, so the ability for the WA firm to benefit from such an experienced set of hands will be invaluable as it navigates the ‘new normal’,” said HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association chair Tony Fittler.

Ms Adams, a corporate advisory specialist, has been with the firm since 2007, moving through the ranks as an accountant and manager.

According to Mr Fittler, Ms Adams’ extensive knowledge in company secretarial duties, governance and risk management, ASX listing rule requirements, IPOs and capital raising processes puts her in good stead to assume her new role as a partner.

“We congratulate Katelyn on her well-deserved promotion, particularly during these challenging times,” Mr Fittler said.

“Katelyn’s measured approach to work makes her a valuable addition to her clients and their businesses, and a trusted sounding board for her network.

“[Both] appointments demonstrate the strength of the HLB Mann Judd firms. Even during these unprecedented times, we continue to focus on the future needs of our clients and support our firms’ business and growth strategies.”
