Mid-tier appoints big 4 veteran for audit boost

Mid-tier accounting firm BDO has today confirmed the appointment of a new partner in its Brisbane audit division who spent 20 years at a big four firm.

Cameron Henry started his new role as audit partner at BDO’s Brisbane office today.

Mr Henry has 25 years’ experience as a registered company auditor, having worked at PwC for more than 20 years and most recently Crowe Horwath. During his career, he has worked overseas in Hong Kong and London.

He has worked in both the assurance and the advisory lines of service across a range of sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, hospitality, tourism and leisure.

Mr Henry has experience providing technical accounting advice to public and private corporations, as well as the not-for-profit and public sector, with specific expertise in external audits, financial reporting, risk management, governance and technical accounting advice.

Mr Henry also holds the position of non-executive director and board chairman of C&K childcare group.
