Webcast – Gender equity in the accounting industry – the opportunity in the new world of work (“Promotion”)
Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter name and address
Momentum Media Group Pty Ltd (ABN 24 610 789 369) of Level 13, 132 Arthur Street, North Sydney 2060, Australia (the Promoter).
2. Who may enter and method of entry
Entry is only open to registrant who:
- is at least 18 years old; and
- has completed the registration from for Webcast – Gender equity in the accounting industry the opportunity in the new world of work at https://www.accountantsdaily.com.au/webcasts/16404-gender-equity-in-the-accounting-industry-the-opportunity-in-the-new-world-of-work (Webcast); and
- provided a
o valid email address; and
o phone number for contact purposes; and
o all the information requested on the above-mentioned registration form; and
- submitted a question related to the topic of the Webcast.
Each person is eligible for one (1) entry only for the purpose of this Promotion.
Neither the Promotion nor the awarding of the prize is open to:
- employees of the Promoter;
- parties to whom the Promoter has contracted work in relation to the Promotion;
- parties who are otherwise directly involved with this Promotion; or
- any immediate family member of the above-mentioned parties.
3. Duration of entry period
The entry period for the prize draw is from
- 10:00 am AEST, Friday, 19 November 2021 to
- 2:00 pm AEST, Friday, 3 December 2021.
4. Details of prizes
Two (2) entries will be drawn from the registrations.
Each entry drawn will receive a ticket to the Women in Finance Awards 2021 (https://www.womeninfinanceawards.com.au/) being held on Friday, 10 December 2021, at The Star, Pyrmont, New South Wales.
The prize is not transferable.
The prize is not redeemable for cash or other ticket for any event conducted by the Promoter.
In the event the winner is unable to attend the Women in Finance Awards 2021, the prize is deemed forfeited.
5. Date, time and place of draw
The prize draw will be conducted at 3:00pm AEST, Friday, 3 December 2021. All draws will be conducted: -
- at Level 13, 132 Arthur Street, North Sydney, 2060 Australia; or
- electronically based on valid registrations on the Webcast website.
6. Publication of winner names
The winners will be notified by email by 4:00pm AEST, Friday, 3 December 2021.
7. Unclaimed prize draw
Winners must claim their prize and confirm contact details by return email within two (2) business days of the date of notification.
In the event that a winner has not validly claimed the drawn prize within two (2) business days of the date of notification, that prize will be forfeited, and no compensation will be payable.
Prizes that have not been claimed within two (2) business days will be re-drawn at
- 4:00 pm AEST on Tuesday, 7 December 2021 (second draw); or
- 4:00 pm AEST on Thursday, 9 December 2021 where winner(s) from the second draw fail(s) to claim the prize.
8. Cost
There is no cost or fee to enter the Promotion.
9. Exclusion of Liability
(a) the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any registrant or any other person including but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or its contractors or its agents in connection with supply of the prizes awarded to the prize winners.
(b) The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion will be final.
(c) The Promoter is under no obligation to provide reasons for any of its decisions.
(d) The Promoter is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence whatsoever with registrants or their representatives in matters relating to the Promotion.
(e) A prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
(f) Where applicable, a winner may be liable to declare a prize for tax purposes. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any tax payable on a prize. If any tax is payable on a prize, it is the sole responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought.
10. Privacy
The Promoter collects personal information from all registrants in order to conduct this game of chance and to complete this prize draw. If the requested information is not provided, the registrant will not be eligible to participate in the prize draw or to claim a prize and their entry may be discarded.

11. Inconsistency
To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions will prevail.
12. Acknowledgement
By registering for the Webcast, each registrant acknowledges that these terms and conditions are legally binding.
