Andrew Birch, currently general manager of the enterprise and connected services divisions, will become general manager of industry solutions.

In this role, Mr Birch will be working directly with accountants to improve Accountants Office and Accountants Enterprise for the cloud, as well as on the launch of the cloud-ERP solution Advanced for mid-to-large companies.

Kevin Rawlings, previously national manager, client relations, has been appointed general manager of practice solutions. He will be directly responsible for the delivery of MYOB’s accounting practice solutions and will report to Mr Birch.

Adam Ferguson, currently general manager of accountants division, will become general manager of engineering and experience. Mr Ferguson will head up the newly-created products division charged with the management, development and delivery of MYOB’s entire suite of cloud and mobile business solutions,

Mr Ferguson said he has enjoyed his direct involvement with accountants over the past nine years but is now excited to be overseeing the development of new innovative solutions.

“It has been a highlight of my career to have worked so closely with our fantastic accounting partners, but I know that Andrew and Kevin will do an outstanding job of working with them as MYOB moves its practice solutions to the cloud,” he said.

MYOB CEO Tim Reed said the new appointments will help ensure MYOB sustains the tremendous momentum being seen in the business.

“We are seeing strong take-up of our cloud accounting solutions, which is directly driving our continued growth. In our latest financial results we produced our best ever half-year performance. Our business is in great shape, and the key appointments announced today will help drive MYOB to even stronger results in 2015,” mr Reed said.

“The leadership team is an asset to MYOB and one that I’m extremely proud of. Over the past three years this team has lead a transformation in our business. This new structure will enable us to increase our leadership position in the years ahead by ensuring we not only have the best business and practice solutions in the market, but that we offer our clients and partners an end-to-end, seamless experience.”
